2000
The group was born in August 2000 from an idea of Oblivion, the present singer.
After a transitional period the group becomes permanent with the entrance of Nazgul and Asmodeo at the guitars, Harvester at the drums and Eld at the bass.
2001
At the beginning of the new year the group starts a hard work of composition and execution.
They choose Forgotten Lore as their name.
2002
Two trial gigs at the Delirium Horror Club and the Forgotten Lore are ready to present themselves as the main Band in a festival at the famous Alpheus, in Rome.
2003
Various gigs together with the important prize they win in a competition for emerging groups are decisive to show that the Band has much more to say: Forgotten Lore enter the studios of the roman Temple of Noise where, within three days of exhausting work, "Glittering Darkness", the first official CD of the group, is recorded.
2004
The game is becoming serious, a demanding March is waiting for the five members of Forgotten Lore: the sixth ediction of Post Mortem at the Alpheus and four days later a gig with the Swedish band Dark Funeral.
