According to the bio Forgotten Lore is an Italian melodic black metal band that tackled its overall sound in a gothic way.

They got formed in 2000 and released three efforts, two live CDemos and this EP from 2003.

This is the first thing I ever heard from them, so let's see what these Italians can do

The music can best be described as melodic black metal with some clean moments as well to keep the music varied.
|
They indeed gathered some gothic influences in their music, but not actually the way Cradle Of Filth does for instance.
|
They would've been fitting in the former Last Episode stables.
|
A highly melodic blend of black and death metal with clean vocals every now and then.
|
I am not really too impressed by the bands music but it is certainly not bad too.Let's call it average.
